Dinner #46: Black Bean Soup

Sunday, April 12, 2009: I "Tivoed" an episode of Tyler Florence's, Tyler's Ultimate show about a month ago. The episode was his Ultimate Cuban Sandwich one. And while I love a good cuban - and his looks good - I saved it because I thought the black bean soup looked even better.



It was actually pretty easy to make and another winner from him. Black bean soupls can turn to mush pretty quickly but his has a really nice texture. The lime also really gives it that little punch of acidity that it needs.

It's a good thing that it's tasty as it will be making a repeat appearance at least 1 more time this week I'm sure.
