Friday, April 10, 2009: We did comfort food tonight. I had some sweet peppers and potatoes that were going to go bad if I didn't use them soon so they were the inspiration behind this meal.
The omlette is cheese (fontina & cheddar - also in the soon to go bad bucket) and sweet peppers. The fries are yukon gold potatoes baked in the oven with olive oil, salt, pepper, & thyme.
Even though this post (and a lot of others) all seem to be about getting rid of food I should say that these are all great, and simple, meals.
